Michele & Rickie - ENGAGED!

Well this was a real treat! Out on the east coast, Rickie was planning to pop the question to my long time friend Michele. He knew I was headed to halifax to photograph a wedding and decided he wanted me to photograph their proposal!! I can't even begin to tell you what an HONOUR that was! Rickie and I had it all planned out - so on the day of, I asked Michele to go for a hike with me to "take photos" of this beautiful little spot she had been RAVING about! (just so happens - this special little place was the same spot Rickie told me about a month earlier!) So off the 3 of us go to "hike." Stopping along the way to take photos, we finally arrived at "the rock" I asked Michele to pose for me, I pretended to pay no attention to Rickie, but I kept pretending my lighting was off and needed to fix it. Rickie, on his knee, took Micheles hand, and asked my dear friend to spend her life with him. What a beautiful moment. Thanks you guys for loving eachother, getting engaged, and letting me be part of the moment!! Looking forward to another Halifax wedding in September 2017!
